Find self help groups if you want Information on a specific disability or impairment.
Citizens Advice Bureaux have offices around Surrey and many will visit you at home if you are unable to visit them. They offer advice and information on a range of issues, including housing, welfare benefits, money & debt, consumer rights, legal issues and employment.
Legal advice and information on community care, housing & family law is available from Surrey Law Centre.
Community Legal Service enables you to find a legal adviser near to you for advice on legal issues.
Help Shops, run by local councils are on many high streets, have information about their services and often host visits from other organisations like the Pensions Service or have a legal advice surgery where you can drop in or make an appointment to see an adviser. Help Shops can be found in Reigate & Banstead and Mole Valley.
PALS, Patient Advice & Liaison Services, offer information and advice on NHS services and health related matters to patients. They are based in most hospitals.
